About the artwork
Filled with layered moments and stories of Australian history and landscapes. Antique music notes written and printed in Australia many years ago, collected and brought to life again in 2026 when new moments were added to the story. Created in the Wheatbelt town of Bruce Rock on the family farming land of the artist De-Anne Strange, inspired by the first rain of the season and the fresh mossy rocks, layers of colour and gum leaves building their own story of love for the Australian landscape. Touch of sparkle for aliveness and awe. A special piece capturing beautiful moments in time, to create its own unique story.
