Hello, I’m De, an Australian artist and designer living on our family farm in the Central Wheatbelt of Western Australia. Surrounded by open skies, native bushland and ever changing landscapes, I draw constant inspiration from the beauty and strength of the land around me.
With over 25 years of experience as a photographer, visual artist and textile designer, creativity has always been at the heart of my life. Today I create intuitive abstract artworks, prints and surface pattern designs that bring warmth, joy and connection into the home and everyday life.
My work is known for expressive movement, layered texture, joyful colour and calming earthy tones, often inspired by wildflowers, landscapes and native plants. Each painting is created intuitively, resulting in art that feels uplifting, grounding and deeply personal.

A lot of thought, care and love goes into every design I create.
I use many different techniques and skills that I have developed over many years, to create a finished design.
Most of my work is either hand painted or sketched first, then photographed and created into repeat patterns in Adobe illustrator, ready for any surface.
