Renowned Australian artist Robert J. McCaffrey has created a breathtaking series of large-scale mixed media portraits, each honouring a key figure from the Wiener Werkstätte movement. Rich in detail and layered with symbolic collage elements, these artworks are a heartfelt tribute—years in the making.
De-Anne Strange, a professional photographer and designer, has transformed Robert’s original pieces into three seamless, surface pattern designs. Each pattern is a carefully curated collage of the artworks, designed to work harmoniously together or stand alone. The result: striking, repeatable designs ready to be licensed for fabrics, homewares, wallpaper, and more.
This collection brings a contemporary lens to an influential moment in art history—introducing, remembering, and celebrating the brilliance of the Wiener Werkstätte for a new generation.
